The Denver real estate community lost one of its leaders this week with the passing of James "Jamie" Fitzpatrick. Many of you knew Jamie and his passion for development and the future of commercial real estate. Our sorrow at this great loss will certainly be echoed throughout Denver and beyond.
As a co-founder of Corum Real Estate, Jamie had over 30 years of experience in development, management and marketing of apartment communities, as well as office and industrial developments.
Jamie also served as NAIOP Colorado President in 1996 and has been an integral part of the Rocky Mountain Real Estate Challenge, as well as the Awards of Achievement Judging committee each year. He took the time to share his passion for commercial real estate by mentoring Developing Leaders for the past 5 years. Additionally, Jamie was a member of a NAIOP Corporate Forum, the CU Real Estate Council and was a board member for the Urban Land Conservancy.
A Memorial Service for Jamie will be held Thursday, December 13th at 1:00pm at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, NWC Iliff and Colorado Blvd with a reception to follow at 2:30 at the Denver Country Club.
